This is my new ruler. It has two handles with it so I can change the size of it. The top picture is a 12 1/2x12 1/2. Next picture I took it apart. You can then have two smaller rulers. The bottom picture is how I attached them so they are now one long ruler, size 24". The yellow lines you see are underneath the ruler. You can move them anywhere (say 2 1/2") and then line your fabric up to the yellow mark. The mark is 1/4" thick so it's so easy to make sure you're cutting the right size.
