Look what came in the mail

Yesterday I received quite a few packages. I've been waiting for these for a couple of weeks and they finally arrived at the same time.
Here is my fat quarter bundle of "Fly a Kit" Afternoon Delight by Riley Blake Designs...
It's so darn cute. I don't want to open up the bundle of fat quarters yet, but I pulled out the top one and saw this fabric with a little boy flying a kit and a little girl swinging. Love it!
Then I received two yards of from the same fabric line of this...
I always buy yardage for sashing and/or binding. Next I bought 5 yards of the same fabric line to possibly use for borders or if the quilt is the right size, I could use it for backing. I love this fabric!
I also bought a large cone of Gutterman thread. I have some in white and my sewing machine loves the Gutterman but really loves the cone. So I bought it in grey also. I gave away my heavy duty cone stand to a "People Helping People" store in a nearby town, thinking I would never use it. Well, I'm going to go back there and see if they still have it and buy it back. But, I just set the cone in front of my machine and thread it at the top and it works just fine.
My machine is a Bernina 830 and it is so picky when it comes to thread. I have thread break on me constantly. Even if it doesn't break, my machine will tell me that it has and make me rethread it. Well, when I finally bought this Gutterman cone, not once has it had a break! What a relief. I don't have to start and stop all the time.
