This quilt was made over 4 years ago and I still haven't gotten around to binding it yet. I have a whole stack of quilts that just need binding and I do not like the binding process, so they sit. Sometimes, I send them to a gal who will cut the 2 1/2" strips, sew them together, iron them RST and then sew them to my front of my quilt and then hand sew them to the back. For this, she charges $35. I know that is a lot of money, but it sure beats having unfinished quilts...like this one. I actually cut all the 2 1/2" strips and sewed them together and folded it and ironed it and it sat for two years and one day I threw all the binding out. I can't believe I did that. Now I have to find some fabric to match this and take it to my gal to bind it. It's a cute quilt. Lap size. Looks funny without the binding though.

  1. Can't believe you get the quilting done, but not the binding. I'm stuck with the quilting and don't know in our out...
