Spending under control

My spending has been out of control. Last year I spent over $40,000 on quilting supplies alone. That includes my $10,000 Bernina 830 sewing machine. I have too much. It's like gambling for me. I can't control my spending. I keep buying fabric, supplies, kits, etc. and I don't need anything more. I could never use what I have right now. I had my husband put a password on the computer so I can't get online when I'm bored and then start buying things. It's working. I'm working hard not to go to ebay or any online quilt shops. I have too many quilts in different stages right now. I need to go finish them up. Here I go.

  1. I think you are like me. You worked for many years, and now you are home alone and lack the motivation. That is usually my problem, plus the fact that I love my computer, and spending time with my hubby on weekends. We like to go junkin' for treasures (Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.) Don't beat yourself up.
