I gave away some quilt kits to a very nice gal on The Quilting Board and had quite a few gals asking if I had any more left. So I told them I would have a giveaway on my blog. So, here's what I have left over to giveaway to 2 lucky winners. I will make up 2 parcels and send them out on Monday December 17th, if I hear back from the winners before then. If I don't, I'll pick new winners. So please, make sure I can get ahold of you on picking day and that you respond to me with your address promptly so you don't miss out.
Now, let me go get my trusty cell phone and take some pictures of my quilt kits I'm offering as gifts!!!
I don't know why this came out sideways because I shot it straight on, but something funky happened on my phone, really! This is an Asian kit. It's quite lovely. Okay, on to the next.
This cute quilt is 20s fabric. I bought it from my local quilt shop about 2 years ago.
This tablerunner I bought from Fatquarter Shop. I am including the magazine that has the pattern in it and which I ordered the kit.
This lovely batik kit is from Keepsake Quilting. I ordered it about 2 years ago also.
This awesome kit came from my local quilt shop about 3 years ago. The top picture is the pattern and the bottom is obviously the fabric. It is going to make a beautiful quilt. This kit cost quite a bit of money. It is pieced and appliqued both.
I think there are three panels in this kit and loads of fabric to make a quilt. I never received a pattern for it. There's striped fabric for borders and just beautiful fabric all around. I am hesitant to give this away, but don't know when I'll find the time to do this.
About an hour ago my mail lady rang my doorbell with a box full of packages for me. Oh no, my husband was asleep. It woke him up. He got home in the middle of the night off a train. And he didn't appreciate all the packages she brought me like I did. So, yes, I need to unload some of my kits regardless.
Also, I bought these two log cabin kits from ebay...already cut out and ready to be sewed. They are shrink wrapped.
So, I don't have many followers at all and to win all you have to do is leave me a comment saying why you would like to win a few of these quilt kits. That's it. I'll check back Dec. 14th and declare two winners. Good luck.
I found a couple more kits today while cleaning my sewing room. I didn't have time to take pictures, but I'll try to later. I am giving more than one kit to a person. Maybe 3 or 4 per person.
Your kits are gorgeous! I would love to win. I've only done a couple of mystery quilts and have never done a 'kit', it would be a new challenge for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity.
And I am one of your happy followers!

I have never won anything in my life. All of your kits are beautiful and I would be thrilled to be the recipient of one of them. I'm partial to Posy Time, but I think they are all fantastic! Pick me! Pick me! Barb Oaker oakerbarbie@gmail.com
