I'm not that great taking pictures with my android phone but these are my Civil War block of the month club blocks. Stars are my favorite block. And the whole quilt is stars! How wonderful. I just love Civil War fabric. I can't buy it anywhere around here so I have to go to an online store to buy it. The gal at my quilt store, Traditional Quilts, says she doesn't get requests for this fabric...people like flowery fabric and modern fabric more. I understand her but then I have to do business online and I know the mortar stores don't like people buying quilting fabric and other notions online. But there are so many stores online that carry complete lines of fabric that I like. And I know that the fabric shops around here can't afford to buy whole lines of fabric. They usually pick out about 10 bolts of a line. And I always want more.
